What To Expect When You Visit
If you are coming to church for the first time, you might have some questions. What is the Sunday service like? Are there programs for my children? Is there time for social connection? What do people wear?
Our Sunday celebration services are just that – a time of celebration! We celebrate the blessings of our Unity with God and with each other. Our program includes inspiring music, a healing meditation, and the Sunday lesson. We believe there is only One Source called by many names: God, Lord, Universal Intelligence, Spirit. We believe we co-create our lives with this Source through the power of our thoughts and beliefs. In other words, change your thinking; change your life! Here, at the Spiritual Enrichment Center, we teach you how.
We offer two Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Staff ministers conduct the first service and our founding pastor, Dr. Carolyn McKeown, conducts the second. Dress ranges from jeans and t-shirts to dresses and sports coats. In other words, wear what “suits” you! You’ll fit in no matter what it is. And, yes, you’ll have an opportunity to connect with others during the “social hour” that follows immediately after the 10:30 service.
We offer excellent programs for Youth from infants to teens. Nursery care is available for both services; our Kosmic Kids (ages 5-12) meet during the 2nd service; and our Teens from 10:30-noon.
The Spiritual Enrichment Center is a lovely sanctuary, situated on California Park Lake. Just minutes from both Highway 99 and Highway 32, we are easy to find. Directions: Take the Highway 32 Exit off of Highway 99. Go east (toward the mountains) to Bruce Road. Turn left and go to the second stoplight. Turn right onto California Park Drive and take the first right into a large parking area. Follow the road back to The Spiritual Enrichment Center.
